Not what you expected, but hopefully still enjoyable :)
One chapter left in Part 1. This chapter was 90% all new content. I started it focusing on Mark and Rosie and Jeremy just kept coming to the forefront and I saw an opportunity that just makes so much sense for what I know is coming. Plus, I was able to show Rosie and Mark's characters in a short period of time (hopefully) that reflected their ages in this version (in the original they were 5 and 7). Something about this chapter really resonates with me. In fact, all of the re-written content dealing with the LaGrange family constantly surprises me in how it emotionally impacts me personally.
Did you mean sight?
"The site of Mark at that moment made Jeremy shiver."
Good catch!
I love this chapter! Very emotional. I had forgotten at first about the kayaking accident and then it hit me. That chapter ending, yikes!
1. …even during the year after Jeremy graduated high school as he… [should be graduated from high school]
2. …for her own parent’s printing company… [should be parents’]
3. The second summer after he graduated high school,… [again, graduated from high school]
4. …their parent’s alma mater. [again, parents’]
5. “Obviously they got that wrong,” said Rose. [should be Rosie]
Great catches. Thanks!
Excited for a new chapter. Not what I expected based on previous chapters. Can’t wait for the next one!
